Portrait experience
The newborn stage is really short, one month to be exact. That one month is filled with beauty, chaos and lots of sleepless nights. As a mom myself, I know just how fast the newborn stage passes and I am so thankful that we invested in our families memories. I take out my son's newborn album quite often, and am flooded with emotion. Remembering how small his little feet were, how much hair he arrived with, and how he could fit into my husbands hands. It is season of our life that we can never get back, but we can relive through our photos.

02. booking your session
Once you have chosen which session is right for you, we can get you on the books. Since we don't know exactly when your little one will come, we will hold your due date as your session date. I will collect a $350 non-refundable deposit and send you a contract and your session will be locked in.

03. Planning your session
Now the fun starts! We will jump on a call and discuss your vision for your session. I love to start with the end product in mind. Photos are meant to be printed, and while you are not obligated to print through me, it always helps to know where your photos will be displayed in your home.

05. delivery
After your session, I will begin the editing process. You can expect a two week time frame for delivery. All images will be sent to you via an online gallery. From there, you can download your keepsake photos in both High-Resolution + Web Sized directly to your desktop. All galleries will have an expiration date, so please be mindful of that.

06. Printing your photos
Photos weren't meant to be stored on your device. They should be admired in your home and bring warmth into your life. I offer prints and albums so you can cherish your favorite moments and memories forever. If you don't wish to print your photos through my preferred lab, a print release will be provided at download.

Newborn Studio Sessions are for: Families looking for a more polished look to their photos. With most of the focus, if not all of the focus, being on baby.
Scheduling: Timing is very important with posed studio sessions, and they must be booked within the first two weeks of life. We are looking to obtain those sleepy, posed shots and the younger the baby, the better.
Session Timing: These sessions tend to run long due to the fact that we wait for the baby to be settled into each pose. The baby is boss and I allow as much time as we need to get a full gallery of your precious new addition. Studio sessions are also shot with flash and not natural light.
Newborn Lifestyle Sessions are for: Families looking to capture a more natural look, almost documentary style. These sessions focus on the entire family and allow for all the tiny details to be recorded (nursery, natural sibling interaction, breastfeeding, etc.)
Scheduling: Unlike the posed sessions, there is no time frame that you need to keep track of in order to book a lifestyle newborn session. This is great for families that want a little bit longer to settle into their new roles, and to recover from labor.
Session Timing: Lifestyle sessions are only 60 minutes in length and they are shot with all natural light. If your children are adverse to flash photography, this might be a great option for you.
